Have Vegas, do I need After Effects

I have Vegas 6.0d which I am in the process of learning. So far I am very impressed with its capabilities. I also have access to Adobe After Effects 5.5. My question, does After Effects really offer that much more functionality to make it worth while for me to invest in learning that software package, as well?

It depends on what you're doing. If you want in-depth motion graphics and composoting, I don't think Vegas will cut it.
