Hey guys and gals ,

This Sat. I took the drive up to New Jersey to help out on Coffee's (Jay) shoot. There were some other fellow Dvx's there helping out as well. Here are some photo's I took while I was there. The images are large so I posted them as links.

In the first picture.
Holding the camera on the left is BTS director - Joe Nash
Then on the bed is the actor ( Don't remember his name )
Then there is Chris Messineo on the floor with the Field Monitor
Then there is Coffee ( Jay) behind the dvx on the tripod
and last next to him is Vitali ( I hope I spelled his name right )

It's a disguised G35 to avoid attention.

Well, looks like you enjoyed the shoot, working with other DVXUsers is always fun. :)

Yeah this was a fun shoot. I learned some good stuff. If I was closer to New Jersery I would probably come out for everything but it's a 3 hr drive.

so what 35mm adaptor is that then? it looks like an anodized letus to me....so he sold it to Joe Nash, but then he is using the adaptor he sold for the film? lol! why did he even sell it in the first place then???

Well when we left Joe left with the adapter. I don't know the details in regards to the adapter. I know from being there that joe was suppose to get it before but didn't for some reason and that's probably why he still had it , but I don't know

Nice pictures.... I'm happy you came man, you were a huge help!

As for the adapter and who has it, lol, this is funny. It's like the "coffee's adapter has a following"! Who has it? LMAO! Sorry, it just made me laugh. Joe will be the proud owner after our last day of shooting. I promised him that it was his when I was done but I have it for now.

Thanks ! For some reason you always tend to be looking up as soon as I take a picture and you get caught with some wierd look on your face.

Vitaly is the correct spelling.

I know man, everytime I looked up I got caught mid sentence and BAM, a flash would go off. Pretty funny.

Oh crap, we have new smilies. :nads:

The 9" field monitor turned up-side-down to compensate the LetUs35's flipped image is CLASSIC! That pic deserves a FRAME! :love4:

Yeah that actually is funny! Good catch.

As for the film, there's only one more day of shooting left, I can't wait to get it out of the way. I'm so damn anxious to get some opinions on it.

It's amazing how time flies when you're shooting. We only did about three setups for that day.

yeah . Note to self 4 guys in a hallway with a dv rig trying to walk backwards isn't as easy as you would think.

The day was a lot of fun!

Although I wouldn't recommend turning your field monitor upside down. I'm not sure what happened, but by the end of the day my monitor was busted and would only display in black and white. :(
