I don't think you can. Unless you've actually been rated. You can't self rate and then use the rating logo. If you just want it for fun on a clip, you could always make one in Photoshop or something.

Scan a DVD or movie poster with the rating you like...and just go somewhere from there..

The MPAA ratings are protected. You cannot legally self-rate your product nor can you advertise "PG" or "R" or whatever, unless you've submitted the film to the MPAA for rating and paid the associated costs.

Ouch. Is it a flat fee or does it depend on the length of your film?
Also, do you have to pay that every revision of your film or just a 1 time fee?

it goes on budget not length.. and you hafta pay it for every edit of your film.

What do you mean by every edit of your film?
Like different edited versions? like on rated R..then another downgraded to PG-13 approval?

yeah, like if you want a different rating than the one they gave you, you re-edit it to fit their standards and you have to go through the process again. :(

$3000
That's better than I was led to believe. I thought I read somewhere $5000. Your figure sounds better, but it's still a lot for a low budget feature. Ouch.
if you just want the screen grab check sonnyboo.com

Anyone who wants to know more about the ratings board should see
This film is not yet rated.
