XL-H1, Koni 3 and SDI capture

The AJA Kona 3 PCI express captures 1080p @ 60 fps. Can I hook the xl-h1 up to this card and record @ 60p. Would there be redundent info on the frames ? could this work?

I would like to record green screen footage and retime to 30p.

I doubt it would work. The H1 outputs uncompessed 60i, so you would only have 1920x540 at 60fps, but it might still look nice. I don't know if it can extract the fields into separate frames, so your next option would be to convert in post, maybe with Compressor.
