Hi,
I'd like to to some timelapse of the sun going down behind city buildings . Does anyone have a suggestion on the record intervals? I was thinking 1 frame every 1/2second or second.
Next I'd like to shoot a night cityscape with cars "streaking" by. Do I need to adjust the shutter to get the taillight streaks? Or should I simply shoot at 12FPS to allow more light in?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

In the back of the asc manual are timelapse charts, also in the book cinematography. check out this website could help alot. www.chaterfilm.com/downloads_file/Timelapse%20Chart.pdf
My best suggestion is to test, test, test. With P2 you can easily go test multiple options within minutes and figure out exactly what look you want the best.
I still think that shooting timelapses on a d20 look better and give you more control over shutterspeed(for the blurred effect).
I love timelapse and shot the sunset tonight at interval 16f/ oneshot 1f. on a timelapse chart that would be 1 shot every 1/2 second. They were fast moving clouds.
