I was just wondering if there is an internal memory controller for saving camera settings without the need of an SD card. I think you could save one or two on the DVX100. ?????? Also, is there a way to erase just one clip off of the p2 card? The only option i have is to format the entire card.

Yes you can save the scene files to the internal memory, just like the DVX could.
And yes you can delete individual clips, or even groups of clips. You have to "select" the clip first, by pressing the pause/set/still button while the cursor is on that clip's thumbnail. The thumbnail will become outlined in blue, and that means that it's selected. Then go to operation->delete->clip, and it'll let you delete that one clip.
