Hi,
Guess this is a big duh! question but I can't remember the deal re different hertz... Is it ok if I use a 240v 50hertz lamp like Arri 2kw from PalLand with my NTSC camera shooting 60?
Also if I take my light abroad to 120v 60hertz land...can I just change the bulb for that system and change the plug?
I may be getting a so called multivoltage lamp but I guess I'd need to know if it's changing to a different hertz rate if that will affect using it with NTSC or PAL cameras...?
YES I'M A BIT CONFUSED HERE - HELP!

-no problem but when you use 50hertz lamp use 100 shutter speed or shutter "off" but turn the synchro scan to 100 (100.3)

-Yes you can, no problem

-When you use multivoltage it will adapt to the herz system. So this will be the same anwer as above, first question

Good luck

Incandecent lamps like a Arri 2kw doesnt have flicker, it emits a constant light.

Fluroscent fixtures and non flicker free HMI's running at 50 HZ will give you flicker at 1/60 shutter.

Use 1/100 shutter or change to kinoflow or flickerfree hmi's instead.
