greenscreen HD

Im doing a project where I will use some greenscreen recording.
I'm shooting dvcpro50 and will later bring it back to minidv. Is it wise to do the greenscreen with HD and bring it later to minidv for best greensreen results ?

If your end project will be delivered in mini DV then shoot your green screen in either DVCPRO50 or HD. HD would be best, but DVCPRO50 will do just fine. It's the 4:2:2 color space of DVCPRO50 or HD you want to work in for doing green screen work. DV is just hard to pull a good composite because it's color space is 4:1:1. Hope this helps. :)

Also, do the compositing in HD or DVC PRO, then render it out to mini DV res. Good luck
