Cache (Hidden)

I don't quite know what to make of this movie.
I walked into it cold - all I knew was that it was a French language film and Juliet Binoche was in it (actually, I only found out she was in it when we bought our tickets).

It was... interesting, but I can't really say I liked it.

Just curious what others thought.

I've seen the trailer, looks like the premise is taken from lost highway. I saw the directors work called the piano teacher, i hated it.

Funny that you mention Lost Highway - because the first thing I noticed was the family last name in Chache is "Laurent"
And in Lost Highway it's "Dick Laurant is dead" that is said through the intercom system.

I'm not sure if that's just coincidence - or if that's the directors way of acknowledging that the premise is straight from Lost Highway.

Either way - I think this movie left me wishing I had watched Lost Highway again instead.
