Well I was not the one who made this movie but I had to start the thread because the movie is so creative. Funny to see the "dvxuser" characters, the funniest thing was the line " The evil Bricemen are infecting the Universe flooding our servers with their purile nonsense". Very, very creative movie. How did you make your movie, what softwares did you use? I want to see some comments from Briceman now!!!hehehehe

Is there a 2nd version I missed?? If you're referring to the DIVXTrek3, yeah, it was creative. Amazing the amount of time that was put into this just for laughs, as it can't compete being animation, but still entertaining ... for DVXusers only ... the general audience wouldn't get this at all.

At the beginning of the movie the title says "DVXtrek2" but the file says "DVXtrek3" so I am a bit confused. The interesting thing is that the user "trekky" has only one post, is he a new user or is he login with a different name?

Yes, which one of the guys is trekky. I'm wondering if Hudson didn't have some involvement in this. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/images/smilies/beer.gifhttp://www.dvxuser.com/V6/images/smilies/beer.gif

I guess "they" did it after Briceman started to help with the fest for Briceman really seemed to be everywhere, hehehe. I guess, as it is a comedy, it is an acknowledgement for Briceman's help and it was a funny way of showing it. Go Briceman go !

LOL I loved this film, I've been laughing about it for hours. You are most definitely right about the audience being for JUST DVXusers. I tried to explain some of the humor to a friend of mine and they just didn't get it. Oh well, their lost. Who made this mystery film? It's just too funny and whoever made it should step up and take credit for a job well-done. The movie was made by a filmmaker with a game about filmmaking with the target audience for filmmakers. It's perfect. lol
The humor was great, especially if you're familiar with the game.
Great job! haha

Yeah, lets give it the animation Oscar.
It was good. But still the 70s music video left something in my brain. I´ve been meeting a psychologist since then...

I was very surprised. My wife thought it was funny, and she doesn't read the boards.(Hence, doesn't know the characters.) I think it would have been better if it was VO'd. I had to keep pausing it to read the subtitles.
Very funny though.

Twas' I hienben who was responsible for this outrage. I'm glad people took it good humor as no offence was intended.
Used a game called 'The Movies' to produce this.
Some people would say it's better than my 'real' entry 'The Last Kiss' but surely they would be crazy wouldn't they?

Nothing more entertaining than a chicken, especially if they are doing either of the following:
1. at the controls of starship's bridge
2. dejected

Sooo funny!
My favourite lines:
"Yeah, but I gave away my DVX in that stupid sci-fi contest, remember?"
"Why is Disjecta wearing a chicken costume? Isn't he supposed to be a duck?"
"The Bricemen are here! This is my worst nightmare!"
Thanks for the laughs!

No problem!
One of my favoutites is the opening line 'The year 2009..... and still no sign of the G35!'
I was hoping to get a free G35 with some product placement, 'hoping' being the operative word.

To tell you the truth, working with that cast was an absolute nightmare. They just wanted to sit around in their trailers all day demanding everything under the sun and acting like total prima donnas. I'm never gonna hire those guys again! ever!
