Seeking the secret ...
I have digitized from a miniDV tape in the HVX into FCP. Now I would like to come out of FCP via firewire into the HVX to make a back-up tape dub ... but I would like the original timecode.
I've tried firewire, coming out of FCP into the HVX with the setting in "Recording Setup" set to "1394 TC Regen ON"
Any suggestions?
Also:
Can I dub a tape with firewire from a DVX to an HVX and preserve timecode from the source tape? (this is an option I have)
