I know your an AFX guy but ask Jarred about it.

They all have their uses. It's just personal preference really. I wouldn't use AE for big composites or FX shots. I use flame for that. I just harp on AE for its motion graphics and design qualities, which trump everything out there for that.

ye, AE is good for compositing, but for a bigger effect, I use 3D
