I recently shot nearly 10 hours of footage in Israel.

When I came back and began uploading my footage, I noticed an annoying flicker in all of the indoor scenes. I've concluded that it was caused by the 50hz frequency of the lights. Is there any way I can remove this flicker?

I think try to add some time trail effect

or try AE's noise reduction, because that uses some kind of "overlayer effect", and you can set the frames before and after that or gona be "smoothed" with the original frame

Good luck, You have such a tough job ahead of you.

I've never had to deal with a situation like yours, where I couldn't just re-shoot anything that wasn't watch-able.

Try rendering it out at 30P and see if your footage looks okay (uncheck interlace on rendering options in After effects)
