201 votes for now. By averaging the ranges (not scientifically exact btw):

201 would get the camera if it was less than $10000
127 if it was up to $20000
68 up to $32500
29 up to $75000

So, if I had to decide on pricing this camera, I would have to decide if I wanted to gross:

$2010000 by selling at $10,000 and supporting 201 customers (more expensive stock, advertising, sales training, etc)
$2540000 by selling at $20,000 and supporting 127 customers
$2210000 by selling at $32,500 and supporting 68 customers
$2175000 by selling at $75000 and supporting 29 customers

This is a site that supports a $3500 camera, so the higher price ranges (especially $50000-$100000) is probably a lot less than the market would accept.

If this was your project what would you do? Perhaps you would want to build less cameras and support less customers while grossing the same and minimising distribution/support/stock costs. But you could decide to focus in establishing yourself in the affordable cine lenses market which changes the data. I believe the lenses are the key element in this project.

I think I wouldn't sell the least expensive model for less than $18,000 :engel017:
