Need help with a cool effect

I found this site with great AE tutorials, but I have a question

look at step 3, how do I create the light flare, is't in AE or in Photoshop?

I would export it as a PNG file. It gives you a transparent background when you import the image in AE.

but AE has an effect like this. it creates a line :)


just add a little track, and you are ready with the new SW

Just create it in a photoshop doc, and import the layer from the psd right into AE. No need to export it.
