hey incase anyone is in need of killing time, i'm in the process of keeping a travel log with photos shot with a 10d (24mm, 50mm, and 70-300mm lenses). Some pictures are just of things i want to remember, while other ones i have taken more time to capature. there are also probably plenty of typos and what not, but i more so doing it for myself and so i can show friends and family back home. If you like it, check it out weekly, i've been trying to keep it updated.

Watson that was cool. I love reading journals like that.
I see you are using a 50mm and 28mm ( I think it said 28) but what are those zoom shoots taken with? A 300?
Great job.:)

Yep! and I'm not actually a "DVX" member... I own a vx2100e, but I work with cinealtas and varicams.

thanks TC, one weekend my friend and i took a trip to this isalnd 2 hours off the coast of Italy. we didnt have / didnt feel like spending money on a place to stay so we slept on the beach. It got freezing at night but i woke to that view. well worth the cold to me.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SHOTS! Not only do you have a great eye, but I loved your discretion of when to use color vs. when to use black and white. I always have a hard time with that.
I usually opt for color because I love bright vibrant colors. But, there is nothing like a great B&W photo!

dont worry about a cmount getting too close, worry about it being to far.. the standard pl mount has somewhere around a 50mm depth ( cant remember the exact numbers) and a cmount has a depth of around 17mm.
