Seems to me there's a small difference when it comes to comparing macro's. Which one seems to be better? A 7+ Century Optics Diopter or 2 10x Marco's?

They work on the same principles, the higher the power, the closer you can have an object to your camera's lens and still have it in focus.
I use the +7 Century Optics on my GL1 with the adapter I've built and it works superbly, but if I "had to do it all over again" I'd probably save myself upwards of $160 and just go for a single or a stacked double +10.
From what I understand, the DVX requires a power greater than +17 to satisfy these adapters.

doesn't the century prevent chromatic abberations?

Well...
It's quality glass, no doubt.
But, I don't see anyone complaining that the My35 has chromatic aberrations, do you? Even so, even Steev Dinkin's $2,000 MPIC that he purchased from Dan has supposed aberrations but as Steev said, an audience will never notice.
So it's all about deciding how much you care about being how exact, I guess.
