I've been using plumbing pipe nipples. Not sure it would work on that size track, but I have 3/4" PVC, and a 1/2" X 2" pipe nipple fits right inside, has threads and so allows you to tie two pieces of PVC together pretty much seemlessly - if you cut the PVC straight, of course.

I may try that. I actually but 5 foot sections forl Lowe's for $ 2-3 each. No cutting

Cut the next smallest PVC in half (i.e. if you use 3/4" for the track, then use 1/2" PVC)

Now you have connectors.

It cost me a solid $35-$40l; and a good 6 hours to paint and everything. I have some homework to do so I will post pics later.

That is exactly how I did it. (The Angle Iron, bolts and wheels.) Drill a hole thru the angle Iron and attach a bolt. You are done.

To build it:
Go to Lowes.
Get 2 pieces of 3 foot, drilled angle Iron.
Get 12x5/15 bolts and 24 nuts.
Get however much 1 inch PVC pipe you want.

Go to Wal-Mart
Go to the clearance isle and get 2x$7 skateboards.

Get as much plywood as you need, Mine is 24" wide.
