anyone know of some good rod system designs with plans?

have been talking with someone who may be able to rig me a set out of thick plastic, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any good plans I could use as a starting point. If all goes well might be able to offer for a small price too (depending on cost of manufacture)

I have like half a system designed in 3D Cad... maybe ill post up what i got.
