Shot at 720p/24pn and then dubbed onto a miniDV tape (i can't edit mxf yet!)
Included:
My roommates working / playing video games. (rackfocus)
Some color temperature / master ped experiments.
A sweet surfing clip.
Sunsets and tides.
No variable frame rates yet! I'm waiting for my friend to get back so we can cut it on fcp. Tell me what you think!

I installed panasonic's mxf viewer and the clips look GORGEOUS. I wish I could post them up here but dvfilm.com's raylight only supports 1080... and i shot in 720 all day =[. I'll try to get the HD ones asap.
I also have a pretty sweet surfing clip that I didn't include in the batch above. Can't wait to show it to you guys in HD.
And yes Spencer, I am in Isla Vista.

Were the warmer shots towards the end done in-camera?
I can't wait to see it in HD but even this looks fantastic. :shocked:
Makes me wish I'll get that magical e-mail from B&H saying my camera has shipped. I already have two P2 cards and a UV filter but no camera. :grin: No wait ... that's actually sad. :cry:

Everything was done in camera. No CC. I don't think I'm allowed to upload the p2 viewer... I had to enter my serial number to get one. If panny was that protective about it then I don't think I should upload it :/

The latest version of Raylight does support 720. There are some blocking issues, but 720 works!

This only futher solidifies my purchasing choice when it comes to getting the HD camera.
the HVX simply dominates with color space. wow.
