yeah, crossposting... sorry.

I'm a senior in high school right now, and have been studying film independently and experimenting with it for years. for my final piece of work at school, i wanted to submit a very polished film to the art show.

thats where someone with a big heart could come in. I was so unfortunate as to have my tripod bust the last time i used it, so i picked up a cheap 99$ one from a photo shop. this doesnt really cut it for the more complex shots though. I was hoping someone here in the chicagoland area would let me use their self-made/diy (could be very rudimentary-as long as its usable) or manufactured camera support system (homemade steadicam, glidecam, dv rig) for just a few days while i shoot.

I'm really at a loss for budget right now- i shelled out all my money on 16mm and still have to shoot the majority on DV.
i have a small amount of money i can still spend (around $30) and movie credits... or promise a free dvd copy of the film

Anyone in chicago/suburbs that could help me out, i would greatly, greatly appreciate it. PM me, or respond to this thread with a place where i could reach you.
