Help Me Make A Sweet Title Sequence (please)

I've got a 30MB, 300dpi Photoshopped PDF that is within the boundaries of acceptable image size for After Effects. What I would like to do is to have the camera scan across the document and reveal the text as it goes along.

What is happening as I import the PDF into AE is that it shows up as a black box.

Can you help?

is it in RGB color space? 72 dpi is also what it should be set at.

try to save it in photoshop as a bitmap or a jpeg, and then you can import it in AE.
