I have compressed my film, and it is no where near the correct file size of 60 MB. How do I reduce the file size? I can't get it to work.
It should be around 300 mb, and that's ok. Ignore the 60 mb number (it's for when jarred thought we'd be doing mpeg4 again, instead of mpeg2).

i don't know if I have mux'ed but the audio and video is one in the same on the preview.
compressor outputs two files (m2v and aiff) if mpeg2 is used.
they must be combined together into one (muxed)
there is supposedly a free program for mac (if that's what you're using)
my specs were ~300mb video ~50mb audio.
I haven't muxed yet, but I plan to try the aforementioned program.

I'm getting in bed for the night. Hope you find what you're looking for. And remember, you have until friday to upload it, so don't get too stressed.

And it will also depend on what kind of images are in there. The compression will compress a LOT if you have huge areas of solid color and/or little motion.
Mine came in at 147 MB (for a little over 4 minutes).
