Internet Explorer problem...

For some reason, everytime I click a link that opens a new window or click a link and select ' open link in new window ' the page wont load. Not like page cannot be displayed or anything... Just sits there blank. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is this gonna have to be a reinstall windows thing.. becuase if it is, that sucks. I JUST did that and got everything configured.

I tried using Firefox and that works fine...and up until now everything was working but now it just isnt'....

Still does it after rebooting?

Check the task manager and see if an "extra" copy of iexplore.exe is running.

i figured it out.


2 of my .dll's were improperly registered i guess

I had to :

Start > Run

type regsvr32 urlmon.dll

hit enter

then type regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

hit enter


Then it worked. :D Thanks though.

Just for future reference...

The quickest way to get rid of this problem is to go to

START -> CONTROL PANEL -> ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS

Scroll down to Internet Explorer and select UNINSTALL

Don't do anything else, your problem is now solved.
