For just ungodly unbridled hotness, Rosario Dawson. MOther of god she could melt iron just by walking past it. If you haven't seen her full nude scene in alexander, you need to turnin your man card.

For the best holycrap i didn't know she was so hot, Carla gugino. (go figure they were both in sin city)

For favorite femme fatale, definitely milla jovovich. Only woman I ever believed could kick my ass, and make me love every frame of it.

For best sweetheard, (and this is just the only movie I ever fell in love with a woman) Julia Roberts in Knotting Hill. I hate the woman and never liked her in anything else, but i just adored her in KH.

Person I think would be hottest in the sack, definitely angelina jolie. I mean she's a 110% kinda gal, she does everything. I would never marry her or even want to date her after hearing how she maintains lesbian lovers she refuses to dump even if she's with brad.

times change, movies change, audiences change, actors change. do you think that people didn't want to be rich and famous back then? i thought that was the idea that built hollywood. i believe it is still an art and there are many fine actors out there. and in my opinion Connelly is one of them.

There are good and bad actors from every era. The more time we put between now and the past, the easier it is to forget the bad and remember just the good. As in sports, it's hard to compare actors of different eras. Technology changes. Styles change. Audience tastes change. Years from now, people will be talking about how today's actors are the golden age and they will have "forgotten" all the terrible performances. To me, it's an apples/oranges thing. :thumbsup:

As for Jim/Kovarova debate, I agree with both. There was something classy about actresses back in the day, there are no DIVAS today like Bacall, Garbo, Kelly, Heyworth... But that's not to say there are no good ACTRESSES these days.

Bacall was extraordinary, absolutely. But there was another, with even more balls -- Barbara Stanwyck. Hell of an actress, that one.

I loved Stanwyck in that she had balls. Arguably more than Bacall. She was great in Double Indemnity and could do comedy like The Lady Eve with Fonda. She was in a ton of noir films. And I think she aged more gracefully as well.

But for me Bacall had a better balance. I wouldn't get into the ring with Stanwyck, but I wouldn't get into bed with her either.
