Any feed back on it would be good to hear.

That is made for still cameras... which are lighter than (most) video cameras... which are lighter than most jibs.
Oh well, I've already given my thoughts on your jib situation.

I know you offered me some advice before Terry, thank you for that. I'm just trying to find a less expensive measure.
The ball head shown above supports up to 90 pounds. Are you sure about what you said regarding this being made for still camreas?

Mikko,
It looks small right? I'm not sure how big it is. I'm going into NYC tomorrow morning to take a look at it. I REALLY need to find a way to mount my crane for a shoot this weekend so I've been on the hunt fo a solution.

If you can't do a smooth pan and tilt, then, yup, it's made for still cameras. It's most likely rated for cameras (up to) 8x10 view cameras.
Can you attach your crane/jib directly to a tripod without a head, then put the leveling head at the camera end of the jib?

When I take the head off of the tripod, the top of the tripod has a half bowl with a hole in the middle that's about an inch wide.
On the crane, the provided piece that's meant to attach to the tripod is a flat plate with two bolts hanging off of it.
I'm getting frustrated with trying to figure out how to get it functioning together.... : (

Look at the item labeled "C" on this link: http://www.ezfx.com/Supports_&_Adaptors
Would that get you there? Do you have a 75mm or 100mm bowl?

Just now looked at it...
That piece labled "C" has one threaded bolt sticking out of the top and in the center.
If that threaded bolt wasn't there but instead had two of them, one in the front and one in the back then it would be perfect......
Did you follow me on that?
