Ok, weird topic, I know. But, I'm curious, what do you all snack on while editing. I know I always need a little something to keep me going. I eat sunflower seeds a lot, and drink diet pepsi. Also, when I'm out I grab some curly fries or stuffed jalepenos from Jack-In-The-Box. What do you snack on?

Been trying to go more healthy. Carrots, dip, pita, and hummus. And sometimes fruit.

Trying to keep away from the chips and soda.

I'm really disciplined (apart from I come here whenever I render anything!). Normally stop for a cup of tea at about 11am and an apple in the afternoon. :)

Okay it depends on the stress level and the time of day but common favorites are Chips and salsa or fruit, if we get later into the night it might be cheese and crackers and a glass of Asti.

Charleston Chews! I like the bite size jobbies.

Course, I'm in the bathroom alot when rendering (Gives "rendering" a dual meaning I suppose).

As long as you don't call it "ex-presso" we've got no problems

There is a snack shop just down the road from me called snaxaway does the most artery clogging snack on earth. It's called a breakfast bap a soft white melt in your mouth bap, crispy American bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and a little ketchup (dribbling on keyboard as I write this) I wont live long chowing down on these things but i'll die a happy man.

A whole lot of espresso, probably more of that, than blood in my veins. Those darn cute little carrots are my favorite.
As for the rendering, I thought it was law to spend all render time here. At least that is the way it works for me, part of the reason why I have not upgraded the computer in a bit.

I'm not a snacker. I guess I sip iced tea when junkying in post ? I'll eat my meals while I edit but never just snacking. It'll mess up my girlish figure.

Like Hudson, I'll eat meals at the computer (a common occurance) but I usually don't snack. Maybe a piece of fruit in the afternoon now and then.

Oh yeah, speaking of smoke. Gotta have a nice cigar once in awhile! :) Makes the room smell great, and it's a nice break from the editing stress.

Shaw, you are a fan? Cool!
...Where do you buy it there in Montana?

Yep! Definitely a fan! American chocolate is, well, waxy. I must say if I have an addiction chocolate is it.

I have a friend, Daavid Stenström, who lives over there who I convince, every now and then, to ship some over. Since the Euro is so much stronger than the dollar buying and shipping can add up. I wish there were a better way to get the stuff over here but Montana isn't exactly a metropolis. =)

I used to know a guy who often traveled to Italy as well. His work no longer requires him to travel though so I can't bum chocolate (Italian in this case) off of him anymore. =(

C'mon, you're quitting smoking thread almost got me to quit. I actually have to have my wisdom teeth out so I'm going to try to quit when that happens. It's like saying goodbye to a friend I've had for a decade and a half though...

Well next time I'm headed to Montana (I haven't been yet :undecided ) I'll bring you some.

In fact, I generally always carry a bar or two of the stuff when I travel. - Especially if people remind me!

I don't usually eat while editing. I'll have a couple drinks, but that's about it.
