I remember a movie in the 90's. It is about a man who can record event and then rents them to other people who would like to live the experience. For instance on guy wanted to be an 18 year old gilr , so he rented that fantasy. Another man wanted to know what it would feel like to kill another person ect, ect. I love this sort of movies, anything that takes you back or forward in time or where you can be anything else. for instance "Lathe" I loved that movie, and someday hopefully I can make my own and post it here.
Anyway, I appreciate any assistance with finding the name of this movie. or if you have any ideas you would like to share with me about these kind of movies go ahead and post them.
Later,

"Strange Days" suffered from a problem all too common in futuristic movies . . .
They set it only a few years into the future, but the new technology was widespread.
In other words, not enough time for too much of a change.

Yeah, I know many of you might not like the movie it's self but the idea alone make me want to buy it. Just like Final Fantasy, I love the concept but not nessacerily (what ever, can't spell it) the movies . I like them but I don't love them per say. I did really like one scene in particular: the highway scene with the logs and how she saw it coming..
Anyways if anyone has others movies ideas like Strange days or Lathe send them over. By the wa, I think my mind was shaped during my youth while watching all of the Twilight Zone marathons in the 80's during the long holidays.
Thanks for replying.

i like mr. fiennes but didnt think strange days was that good. i think D Jimerson is right. if it was further in the future then it may have worked. I preferred Fiennes in Schindler's List. that was some performance.

I would have to agree with you on this.
But the this furturistic creativity will always be wrong uif they keep going 10 20 years from now. They should go ahead 2, 300 years so nobady can prove them wrong. (Joke)
Society will always be held back by the poverty level in the world. If people don't have the money to by the rocket shoes, or the self drying jacket, we will never make to where some of the movies assume we will be in the furture.
