I saw this on UK TV, sadly we don't have a R2 DVD for repeated viewing. So everytime it does come on TV i try to watch it. Anyway, I think this is one of those gems that just grabs you, everything about this movie is amazing, the cinematography, the conflict, plot, acting, music etc.. It's such an underrated movie. In my opinion Weirs best work to date, so haunting, so philosophical. It asks so many questions about human existence and at the same time entertains. A classic underrated piece that needs to be appreciated.
What do you guys think of this?

This is a truely astonishing film; I've never understood why it didn't get the respect that it deserves. Don't get me wrong, some of Peter's other films (Witness, Truman Show) are equally brilliant, this one seems to have slipped under the radar.
I've been waiting for a great R1 release that just never seems to happen. It's not even available in widescreen here.

I love this film and it depresses me to no end that the only version on DVD is pan and scan. Pan and scan makes me want to puke.

The concept is amazing. I find the story lags a bit near the end.
Loved it though.
Pan and scan...what's wrong with people. I won't even watch that shit.

It's pan and scan I just ordered a R1 version from amazon, I am going to cancel my order.

I saw this about a month ago and I didn't like it at all. The plane crash was done very well but after that everything goes down hill. It was very boring and the story made no sense. Plus, i hate that actress.
Maybe I should watch it again.

Oh yeah I remember that scene... I'm going to rent this tomorrow and watch it again. Maybe I was in some kind of a weird mood or something.
