Mike mills flick. Caught it last night.

Absolutly loved the way it was shot. Beautiful lighting and compisition.

Started off a bit slow but once it kicked in I loved it. Pretty original story.

Interseting to see more suburban stories being told.

I thought it was pretty good... saw it a while back w/ my buddy, worth a rent. Kinda felt like a wes anderson rip off though.

Lou Pucci was impressive, but Benjamin Bratt was the best, his character stole the show...

Saw this last night finally. I really dug, even though the style was a little pretentious/over the top. Still very pretty to look at.

Thumbsucker is interesting to compare to The Squid and the Whale. They both have similar stories but drastically different stylistic approaches.

I really enjoyed the film, kept my attention and had a solid story. Well done.

I thought this was actually real bad, for a lot of different reasons, none being about thumbsucking. Vince was very funny in it, but his role didn't need to be played by one of the best actors in Hollywood.

This was one of the worst movies I've seen all year. Maybe in the last 3 years. It had no point, bad acting, weird story decisions, pointless turns. How do movies like this get made?

I think the performance from the lead actor made it a good movie. The music didn't hurt, either.

Overall, I would recommend it to my looser stranger friends.

Yeah, I liked it and hated it.

I loved the way it was shot. and I love the story line but I felt that it stayed too PG for my taste. Ritalin is a seriously insane drug and they treated the whole thing too lightly.

The acting was great though. Even keanu was acceptable.

C.G. look into the director and you'll understand how this got made. He is a very well know and internationally respected artist who has done some very cool work.

Oh man, Keanu Reeve's character was the best part of this movie. He was freakin hilarious. The wolf paintings and the long hair. Power animals and suddenly clean cut, talking about coming back down to earth. Classic...

The songs from the Polyphonic Spree worked really well in this movie...

I liked the elliot smith in the movie. Great choices.

The thing that really hit me in this movie was the composition. Almost every shot in the movie has ity's subject centre frame. And it still manages to look great. A really good eye for composition.

I liked this movie a lot. I think it's a real sleeper. I'm interested to see what Mike Mills does next.

IMO, it felt genuine. I also like the way it was shot and the music.
