letus is the only one I know of, that filpes the image. Read through the threads, you'll find what you're looking for.

How is the Letus 35 able to flip the image, without majorly affecting the cost? I only know that the P&S Mini 35 could flip the image; and the main reason it's so expensive is because of that ability.

i dont think so, since the letus is $600. i think its more of that german quality as well as support from p+s technik. though i must say, for the price tag, the letus fufills both of these requirements for me.

Could you expand on your setup?
What are the rods you are using, did you do some
modification to the Letusflip hardware wise.
Thanks,
Adrian

its the Sony HDR-HC1 on the Cavision RS-15IIM Rod Support with 250mm rods and lens support bracket mounted to the Letus35 Flip using 37-52mm and 52-72mm step up rings. The front end lens is a nikon nikkor 50mm f/1.4 normal prime lens.

the only modification i did to the letus was push the ground glass about 3mm to achieve the full range of focus on the lens. thats about it.

eventually, ill get around to customizing a metal bracket for the letus to be mounted onto the rods so that i can achieve an 85mm optical axis to rods height.

That's what I was wondering, whether or not the letus is actually
attached to the rods, I can't really see the lens support bracket and
if it is in fact attached to the rods and how. That thing looks like it
needs support. I don't want it ripping out the threads of my DVX.

Thanks for any help,
Adrian

How is the light loss with it, rpster? I guess it should be worse than the original Letus, but how much worse?
