Ok, I really need your help. I need a shot, or a CG animation of a security camera becoming active. It only needs to be 2 sec. long, but it's a major need. If anyone has something like this please PM me asap! Thanks.

I'd look up a store/business that sells security cameras ... they've got to have stuff on display, or have an example that they may let you use/licese (if it's existing footage), or you can ask if you can put a background (colored paper you can key out in post) behind the camera & get a quick shot of it moving around, etc. At least it's what I'd do in a pinch or first thing that comes to mind.

you could fake it by doing it from the POV of the camera - scrub it through a green filter and add some grain - you will never need to show the camera and the audience will get it
