Does anyone have any information on the CitiDISK v. Focus storage devices as they relate to HD and HDV storage. I seem to remember Barry Green saying something about CitiDISK but can't find it. CitiDISK is less expensive and lighter but does anyone know of a downside?

The downside is the existing body of user reports for their prior products. The CitiDisk and its twin-brother the MCE QuickStream have had more than their share of complaints. So while the price is tantalizing on the CitiDisk HD, I'd be inclined to let someone else test it with their own footage for a few months before I felt confident in taking the plunge.

Also, there seems to be some question as to whether the CitiDisk records HD at all. It may be the case that it only streams DV, and then for HD you'd have to use it as an offloading drive, in which case it wouldn't actually be in competition with the FireStore or CinePorter at all.
