can i only record on the p2 cards when shooting in 24p on this camera?
this is a factor in whether i buy this or the 100b.
ive heard you can only record onto the p2 and not onto minidv if shooting in 24p.
also, can you record in sd onto minidv on this camera?
how good is the lowlight on it vs. the 100b

You can record standard-def DV in 24P, 30P, or 60i on the DV tape.

You can record all formats on the P2 cards.

The HVX is not as "fast" as the 100B, the 100B can deliver comparable brightness in probably half the light of the HVX.

$5995 is retail; don't know what "street price" is, probably down around $5500 or so.
