New Okamura's short but useful clip.

One interesting note:
This time the shutter speed is not 1/48th (that is in fact the 720/60p shutter speed) but 1/125th. Thus, the slowmotion is perfect film-look and not vaguely videoish.

Looks good! 720/30p
The car goes by 4 times
Here's what I dissected from the Janglish
1. 30FPS (match timeline)
2. 12FPS (2.5 times faster) fast-mo
3. 60FPS (1/2 time as fast ) slow-mo
4. I believe it was a combo of 12FPS>60FPS>12FPS
In that order.

Yes, Stevet, I'm with you!
Explaining a bit further what Stevet said above:
Apparently the guy (Okamura) forgot to shoot normal speed footage.
Thus he made No. 1 shot by slowing down 60fps footage to 30fps "normal speed".

Okamura is putting out the best looking footage right now IMO - His stuff is selling this thing for me

Looks good.
On the TIFF of the car (haven't downloaded the clips yet) I noticed:
burned highlights on the chimney of the house
crushed blacks by fence, around car and by tree folliage
moire pattern on house siding.
Not meant to be picky, just couldn't help but notice. I still would love to have this camera. Just hoping that video will one day have better contrast handling.

was the highspeed/slowmo/highspeed clip done IN CAMERA... or in editing?
I know the frame rate was set in camera... but was it switched on the fly?
looking at it frame by frame... it sure looks like it was all in camera...
if so, that is VERY cool.

You cannot switch frame rates on the fly with the HVX. It's an option you choose in the menu and so you can't record while doing it. The ramp effect was done by shooting it in slow motion and then speeding up the parts in normal speed in post. I agree it looks great.
