At least "The Simpsons" apologizes for them.

Flashback shows are disrespectful to the fans. :thumbdown I think "Happy days" started that trend [well, for me anyway....]
Don't have a new episode.... just run a rerun....

Anyone remember an oft-forgot comedy called Get a Life starring Chris Elliot that ran for about 30 episodes? They had a brilliant flashback show ... but every other example is a waste of time.

That the one where he'd get hit by a car in the opening credits because he was looking at his neighbor's wife? I'm afraid i don't remember the clip show.

You've got the right show. The clip episode starts with Elliot on a plane and he goes to the restroom but opens the cabin door and steps out without looking. The rest of the show is him remembering the good times as he's falling to the ground.

Happy Days bastards. You know, the same folks that brought us "Jumping the Shark".

I think sitcoms should be outlawed. Stupid laughtracks.

I agree with that except maybe "Two and a Half Men". It is the first 1/2 sitcom I've watched more that one time since Seinfeld.
