I am happy to report that Graeme Nattress has agreed to officially join the RED team. I am sure that his presence on the team along with his creative thinking and expertise with the RAW workflow, software solutions, and clear connection with the target users will guarantee a better end product. Please understand that Graeme will NOT be able to answer all your questions going forward for competitive reasons. He will join us in our booth at NAB 2006.

His email is graeme@red.com

Now that is an excellent appointment. Graeme is well known on the forums and his superb Final Cut plugins are second to none and I for one highly recommend them.

Getting the right people on board is paramount. I say with Graeme you have hit the bullseye with his expertise.

even more gravitas to this project, I've got to say I'm getting more and more exited about this. I love the idea of getting a camera that is so future proof that I can forget about upgrading for a while and actually make some films. I also think that this camera would be excellent for making commercials.

I have also shot a few weddings and as this would probably make a poor general camera for such an event I like to do some glamor type of shots with the bride and groom that this would be perfect to have in my bag of tricks. (I'm just trying to come up with some moneymaking ideas to support my filmmaking habits)

Good Choice Jim.. Graeme is probally the best possible guy to have in your corner, the guy is a wizard and understands the Digital workflow than probally most of us put together.

Congratts Jim and Graeme.. I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with together.

:-) So am I. I'm not too keen on out of the box ideas - I prefer off the planet ideas myself :-)
