ok, two more clips for your perusal. Remember. In STORE, no camera manual, going from MXF to DVCproHD to h.264 (cause I am nice to you PC guys). So there is some lossyness going on. Don't freak about the grain!

Instead, in this clip, note that the lens is wide open, some barreling, but not that bad. Also note the light up top, and what kind of fringe this camera gets.

And in this clip, we purposly hit my face with a kino 4 bank to blast out highlites. The kinos were mixed tungsten and daylight (for some reason).

I will post more later! In a weeks time I may have some professionally shot HVX green screen footage for us to play with.

wow! Those look pretty grain free. A little gray because of the h.264 codec, but grain free nonetheless.

ok, looking at the shadows, maybe not. :undecidedYup, unfortunately but can will it be from the "delivery" codec? Regarding the Okamura's files, I read here (http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showpost.php?p=391651&postcount=9) that maybe some sort of gamma playback bug can add the noise to the image. See it, also, this comment there (http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showpost.php?p=391695&postcount=11).
