How can I test the speed of my laptops hardware. I want to know if I'll be able to capture a stream on the firewire interface.
If I do a file write to the internal disk from an external drive via the firewireport will this be a comparable benchmark?
100Mb/sec is what I'm after right (for DVCPRO HD stream from HVX200)?
