When I export a 720/60p to wmv using AVID Xpress HD 5.2, the result file appears to have a interlace effect?
It doesn't seem to matter what I use for a timeline.
AVID's preview window does not show the issue.
I've tried just about every variation of wmv.
I have no issue if I export it as an HDV file....hmmm...
Here's one of Kaku's latest files (http://members.cox.net/vx2000/720_60p_drip2.wmv).
The file is 720/60P of water dropping.
It show's the issue I'm writing about.
WTF am I doing wrong? Why does it look interlaced when I'm exporting 720P
with progressive selected during output?
I thought it might be the behaviour of my video card overlay, but wmv files from other users do not show this issue.
By the way, Kaku has some new 1080/24p night time footage on his web site.
AVID for PC does not work with the 1080 files. Someone please export a high quality wmv so we can check it out.
thanks, Steve
