I made a music video for the Ifilm "Breathing Live", Yellowcard contest. shot it with the DVX and used some super 8 as well. Its about this guy that wakes up in the middle of the night to find himself flying down the street on his bed in heavy traffic. Oh, by the way he gets sucked into a TV that gets glued to his face. It's kida like this surrealistic nightmare. Check it out and let me know what you think. If you like it vote for it, and let other interested parties know. Go to the link below and look for my name on the list. Shane Sauer. Click your appropriate internet speed. You need quicktime/reel/or windowsmeadia. The online quality isn't so good, but you get the idea. Hope you enjoy it....

Nice job. The story and casting really suit the music.

holy crap! look, a lot of patting each other on the backs goes on at this site, which is great but it kind of makes it hard to tell what people really think is good work vs. bad work. so please understand when i say that your music videos was one of the best independently produced music videos i have ever seen and it's now in my top 30 of all time (that's a good thing. i've seen a LOT of music videos). it was romantic, psychotic, creepy, wild and fun all at once. wonderful editing and clever use of low budget effects. everything under the blankets was particularly good, especially the shot where the couple is being dragged away from each other by an unknown force. actually, i loved the whole thing. sorry i missed the voting dammit. also, i prefer happy endings so i was kind of hoping the bed would roll up to the girl and the video would end on them just kind of acknowledging each other like, we don't know if she's not gonna leave after all, but your ending was the better choice. do you have a website of other work? could i get a DVD of this or at least a link to a high quality file? (ifilm's compression requirements blow)

well I watched yours first, then I watched the first half or so of about 10 others. You have a great chance at winning. I was not impressed with the other videos that I saw. You had a great concept and ran with it. good focus throughout. well done. it did get a bit monotonous at times meaning I would have liked to have been taken to other locations or a mixture of the ones presented. BUT im sure that the band was not going to pay anyone to make the video so its hard to go too crazy. Unless you are a trust fund baby. GREAT JOB none the less. definetly the best treatment and concept out of the ones I saw.....keep it up!
