FEBRUARY DVXFEST
La, La, La La, Love You Baby
It's February and the DVXfest marches on. We've added a little twisteroo to this month's DVXfest--a theme and a required object. The theme for February DVXfest is LOVE and the required object is a HEART-SHAPED BOX OF CHOCOLATES. It's up to you how to interpret love, but you gotta include that heart-shaped box of chocolates. Romantic love, brotherly love, obsessive love, the love of a good single-malt Scotch--it's all fair game.
As a reminder, your film must be *entirely* shot and edited during this month and can't contain any copyright violations. *Message me with your link or email me at xtol7@yahoo.com. *Full contest details are available at:

COOL PRIZES
DVXfest is primarily a monthly short film festival and a chance to have your work seen by hundreds of fellow filmmakers. *But what could be better than showing off your film and getting a cool prize? *Plus, all 2005 monthly winners will be eligible for the Best of DVXfest 2005 award and the oh-so-sweet prize that goes with the title. *The February winning filmmaker will receive the following prize:

Links to the submitted films and the voting polls will always be posted in the Cafe ala DVX Forum on the first of the month. *Additionally the links will be posted in the Latest DVX News/Articles and the Contests Forum. *All comments should be posted in the DVXFEST SHORTS thread in the Film Discussion forum. *Film submissions are always due on the last day of the month. *Voting will take place during the 1st week of the following month.
