why is it that some of the footage will play on pc or on a mac but not both - if it uses the codec shouldnt it play on both?
Next year will mac be a PC with Intel's CPU

Sorry my techie ignorance, but what do you mean? With Intel's CPU I will be able to handle @windows environment, too?
Yes, if they don't make any hardware stop for windows, but I don't think they do it

I reccomend you download the full version, it has the most codecs, obviously.
OK now what Phd was trying to say was that Mac's are going to have Intel's chips next year, so more PC things will probably run on Macs. Maybe.
Why have a mac when you can use a PC. Mac will be a PC and like a PC you can run different operations system
