I couldnt sleep so remixed some music and re-edited that little rap test. I ran out of footage for the ending because he just made up the lyrics the night before and he kept changing it up. The finished flick was 3.6 gigs but i have squeezed it down to 11 megs at 640x480 the audio has seems to have suffered the most.

The picture quality from the DVX100 is nice and crisp. But to graded as a music video, it really shows that only 3 hours was put into the shooting. This really reminds me how difficult and time consuming it is to make a good music video. However, this clip can be used as a sort of cadid-street-performer type clip, whereever approriate.

hey your gonna drive yourself nuts if you keep cutting this clip :) I think as well that the compression killed the audio quality of the footage.. Also the Quicktime clip is encoded at 30FPS, was that on purpose? I almost thought for the first time i was able to see the 1 frame audio sync problem with the DVX but i think the framerate conversion may of been it. I like your choice of cuts though and how you refrained from going transistion effect crazy.. signs of talent :)

thank you. The background music was added just to give it some depth and I didnt spend much time with it at all. It was more like, ok a few more minutes and I will be able to go to sleep but just wasnt able to do it. I dont even think I cared if the music was off or not. I know in some spots he changed pace and and it sounded way off but oh well, I was just really counting sheep :).
This isnt a DVX piece but I thought I would post it anyway. I like to see others work so I will post this.

yeah, that was for a documentary called "12 o:clock street kings" but we never used it. We just released the video outright.
