There is a DVD you can get for free from Promax.com that shows footage side by side, a must have if you havn't already bought the Dvx.

i got mine in about 2 weeks. I guess if you called them and ordered some tapes or something and requested them to throw the dvd into the box and ship it fedex you could get it pretty fast

It was that Promax DVD that convinced me to buy the camera. I was going to rent one for the weekend and stopped by Promax Hollywood to see about renting one of their tracking dollies. Took the DVD home and within two minutes knew I had to buy one (DVX that is, though I bought a Promax tracking dolly too!) :o

Guess this is kind of old news - didn't realize how old this thread was...

lol 2 weeks is old on this forum, considering we only been around since July 4th :)
But yes, me too, Noah sold me on the DVX with the Promax DVD, to bad Noah doesnt get any commision. If promax was a little cheaper I would of bought it from them but i went with EVS instead. Panasonic should buy that DVD and give it out like candy.

I just got this earlier this week. I ordered it and got an empty envelope. When I e-mailed them, they said that they were "running low" on the DVDs, but would find one for me. I got one in the mail less than a week later.
