Out of context, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be saying. They generally look good. If you want me to nitpick, there's a fleck of dust just above the watch, in the black area. I'd also prefer if that vertical line ascending from the watch were actually straight, and not wavy.

In the vodka one, there's a lot of tiny crap on the glass, and one or two of what might be fingerprints. I also think it could use just a little bit more key.

Two questions: why is it "Vod Ka"? Is that the product name? Also, am I crazy, or is the proof totally wrong on that?

No the name is not actual yet. i see the dust and the stuff on the cup. thank you. this is just proof untill actual comes out. i just want to see if it gives you the feeling of an advertisement that you see in magazines.

Okay, yeah, now that you mention it, the statement of proof is slightly slanted and could use some bending to it. And, again, Proof should be 2x percent. So here you'd have 160 proof, which is some seriously strong stuff.

To be brutally honest, I do like the photos but the lighting could be a bit stronger in both shots. There's not much going on lighting wise, you have to treat small subjects like big subjects re lighting and create more drama with it, the glass effects like condensation and water droplets look a bit too normal as opposed to the glossy well placed unnatural fx you can get using photo sprays and/or by some more experimentation. The watch again could do with some lighting experimentation using black reflectors near the watch to control and shape the lights and darks creating a more interesting pattern of lighting and shade. Try starting out with stronger lighting output especially with the vodka shot and you will have more scope it looks like the lighting was a bit weak re power for the results obtained. However they're on the right road. Good luck

I like the watch shot... for the vodka you need an absolutely PRISTINE glass... and you might want to look into glass ice cubes if you're serious, but you could probably experiment with making your own good ice cubes... still you'd be a long way off from the quality you'd get with fake ones.

The cubes can not be cloudy... crystal clear. Also if you shoot the glass at this angle you might want to put it on something so you can light it from the bottom through a hole in the platform that the glass sits on. Then the background has to be complex and interesting... or simply stated. A red slash across a distant white backdrop... or a tasteful desk adorned with high class items... or a couple girls dressed well and out of focus (perhaps having a conversation).
