Hi, i bought an 8mm camera online, it has 3 switchable lenses and it has the brand name of keystone on it, can anyone tell me about this camera even a little? thanks all!

It wont let me post my picture of it but heres a link to some pictures of it, its a Keystone K26 8mm movie camera. Anything you can tell me about it would be appreciated, what kind of film i need etc. thanks!

I have a feeling it is a standard 8 camera, which means they don't make the film anymore. I have heard rumours of a few DIY setups that cut down larger negative to 8mm size though. You really want a super 8 camera. They are cheap and the film is still easy to get hold of.

You can do a lot with DV and filters too. Super 8 does have a certain feel to it, but you can get a pretty good cine simulation with DV. I use CGM's filmlook filter in FCP - it's great.
