View Full Version : Urgent Question!

Just found out that my friend (also co-director) knows a writer for The Washington Post, and she wants to visit our set. She's doing a story on Christian's in Filmmaking. (Both my friend and I are born again Christians) I was just going to make sure it wouldn't be a problem with any of the rules here. I know she's going to be continuing to get in touch with other Christian filmmakers, and probably will not do an article until late Jan or Feb. and may not even mention us, or the film, or whatever. Should I tell her to keep the title out of anything she writes? Just want to make sure it's kosher before I allow it. Thanks guys!

What would her visiting your set have to with any rules here?

I see no problems with this personally; Barry?

Possibly promotion (Through the article, if ever written and/or published)

He's talking about promoting/publicizing his sci-fi entry.

I defer such a question to Jarred and/or Barry_S.

I do not intend or want this to happen, but, because of the nature of the article, and the fact that it might be published soon is a question.

I think the no-promo requirement was meant to keep people from hawking their stuff here. A title being mention in the Wash Post shouldn't mean diddly.

If it does, then maybe we should all have had the crews and actors sign NDAs because I'm sure they're talking to someone, somewhere.

Seems to me that anyone drawn to DVXuser due to the article would not be able to vote anyway, BWTHDIK?

True, because of the 100 posts to vote rule.

Ok, if there are no further problems, I'll go ahead and allow her to visit the set. Thanks everyone!

Just be careful about posting her article before the end of the contest. Of course, Jarred has not ruled yet, so ....

I wouldn't post her article on this forum. But, someone who lives in DC and is also on dvxuser.com might read it.

Don't listen to us! We're just opining! You'll need a definitive yea or nay.

Yeah. If I could get a yes or no from the man (Jarred). That would be great.
