I was under the impression from Jan's Rez Fest presentation in Chicago that the firewire output was a one way stream out, and you would not be able to pass through DVCPRO-HD footage out of the edit system back through the camera.

I was hoping Barry, Jared or Jan could clarify this.

It is definitely bidirectional.
