Nikon D Focusing Screen

I was planning on getting a focusing screen in attempt to create a 35mm Adapter for personal experience, got all the parts but I was about to purchase this Beattie but on the picture, it says "plain matte" but I can sort of see a little circle. Now will this circle show up on the image?? Because the rep at B&H said the clear circle is on the Nikon D Focusing Screen too and I've never seen it projected on other's Nikon D adapters or does he just not know what he's talking about??

He doesnt know his screens. If you get a screen with a circle, it WILL show up. This is the screen you are looking for:

nikon only makes this one model with no circle/focusing aid. I got one and they work well.

im using a nikon screen with the circle in it and IT SHOWS !

im gonna buy the d series for f3 , are you using macros lens?

Is the Nikon D Focusing Screen for F3 Series Cameras as big as the Beattie Screen? Will the Nikon D Focusing Screen fit into a 55mm filter ring? How does it handle against scratches?

I've had this thing for quite a while. It's been sitting inside its case on a shelf for about two years.

I was planning to put it on ebay. I went there to check to see what D screens are selling for now but I couldn't find any available so I'm not sure what the value is. I suppose it would be up to you to decide what it's worth to you.
